Carls Birthday

For Carls 29th birthday we went to the casino for the night and went swimming. Erin and the girls came wednesday morning and swam with us. I was really surprised how well the girls did in the pool, they were good little swimmers. Dominic perferd the hot tub but once he got in the pool he had fun. After that we went home and tested out carls new BBQ, I got him a portable one so we can get more use out of it, but its still pretty burly. Then we had cake later that night with the ross's and another cake on thursday with tammy ed and kate. I am excited to try some of the pork they brought us. I think I am going to cook the roast tomorrow night. Anyways I got some cute pictures of the kids playing in the pool so I thought I would share.

staying busy

We have been staying busy this last week, we went to larrabee park last Monday and then went to Orcas island Tuesday night. Lots of pictures so I shared some here for everyone.

Baby bull calf

Dominic bought a baby bull calf last week at the auction. 5 bucks plus milk replacement and we were good to go. He is so excited to have a baby bull. We have tried it before with nikota and so we figured why not give Dominic a chance to bottle feed a baby bull, considering his obsession with bulls and cowboys. We are hoping to possibly put him in my moms field when he is too big to have at our house and then split the meat with them when the time comes, but we shall see.

vegas

so we survived vegas lol.......but we are still not married. as you all know I got sick but will be married soon. I think we will be going to the courthouse this week to finalize it. And then I will keep you all posted on the date we will do the family gathering. I wanted to share a few of my favorite pictures from our trip.

LAS VEGAS here we come

So we leave on Sunday night for Las Vegas!!!!! I absolutely cant wait. We are staying until Friday at the Excalibur hotel. The even bigger news is that we have decided to get married while we are down there. We are going to officially tie the knot on wednesday 02/10/2010!!! I am soo excited. We have been together now for 6.5 years and I was starting to think it was never going to happen lol. This whole trip was planned very last minute..... I literally just booked it last week. I got my taxes back and found too good of a deal to pass up and Carl and I both agree that we dont want a big wedding and so This is probably our only chance to do something special for a wedding without going overboard. I am looking foward to finnally having the same last name as carl and dominic but its weird to think I am not going to be a PAUL anymore. We have decided that since all of our loved ones cant come with us :( we will do a Big BBQ on the beach or something as soon as the weather starts to warm up. that way we can share this special event with everyone. I tried to figure out a way so that our parents and or grandparents could come down for even just a night to see us and all the flights out of Bellingham are booked so the cost is ridiculous. I will take lots of Pictures and promise to do something for the family when we get back. I love you all!!! Wish us luck!!
